OZARK, Mo. - Sentencing is set early next year for a man from Sparta, Missouri who admits guilt in a car crash that killed his son.

John C. Clark, 36, waived arraignment and pleaded guilty last week to involuntary manslaughter and four charges of second-degree assault.  He had previously pleaded not guilty.

The manslaughter charge was filed on evidence that Clark was driving while intoxicated at the time of the crash.

Missouri Highway Patrol troopers said in an accident report that Clark was driving drunk in Christian County when he crashed into two other cars, killing his 3-year-old son, Kohen, in November of 2012.

Clark is scheduled to be sentenced on January 3, 2014.
