OZARK, Mo. -- Authorities in Christian County, Missouri are saying more about the weekend arrests of a couple from Chadwick, now charged in the murders of family members nearly 40 years ago.

Christian County Sheriff Joey Kyle Tuesday released photos of Alice and Gerald Uden, who are being held in the jail in Ozark until authorities in Wyoming can extradite them back to face charges.

Kyle says his officers were contacted by cold case investigators from Wyoming, who came to Ozark last Friday with an arrest warrant for Alice Uden.  She is now charged with killing her husband,  Ronald Holtz.  Holtz disappeared in late 1974 or early 1975.  His body was recently found in an abandoned mineshaft in rural Laramie County, Wyoming.  She was arrested at her home in Chadwick on Saturday, September 26.

The following day, Gerald Uden was arrested on charges of killing his wife, Virginia Uden and her two sons, Richard and Reagan. (below)  The three were reported missing in September 1980.  Their bodies have never been found.

Kyle says as a result of the investigation against Alice, more information came to light, leading to the arrest of Gerald Uden.   Kyle said the couple had been living in the Chadwick area for about 22 years.
