Chiefs Working Through OTA's

The Kansas City Chiefs completed another week of OTA's.

KANSAS CITY, Mo--The Memorial Day weekend may feature baseball games and auto races.

But it's also football season.

Teams around the NFL are wrapping up OTA workouts.

And the Kansas City Chiefs have more optional training activities set for next week.

This is a critical time for new coach Andy Reid and his staff as he tries to get the Chiefs and their new offensive and defensive schemes on the same page.

And that's especially critical for rookies and new free agent signees.

Andy Reid/Chiefs Coach:"They've been thrown into that. They're hanging on. They're getting better. It's important that they don't ge so frustrated that they get log jammed there and bogged down. So they've worked through it and kept a positive attitude. The veterans have been great, teaching them and help coach the. I think they've made some progress.."
