Chiefs Players Buzzing After 4-0 Start

The Chiefs have started the 2013 season 4-0.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Just five teams will be undefeated after the end of four weeks of NFL football, and the Kansas City Chiefs are one of them.

This after a dominant, 31-10 win over the struggling Giants on Sunday in front of a raucous crowd of 73,000 at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs defense continued to prove itself as one of the best in the league forcing three turnovers and holding the giants to 1-14 on third down.

The offense turned the ball over three times -- its first three of the season.

But it didn't matter. Alex Smith was mostly his efficient, calm self.

Jamaal Charles had 127 yards of total offense.

Dexter McCluster has the world talking about his 89 yard punt return.

After the game the lockerroom was still buzzing over a great win in front of a great crowd.

"Chiefs Kingdom is in it all the time. My ears were still ringing," said tight end Sean McGrath, who caught his first career TD pass. "It's great to have a great fanbase, and it's all about business but having fun. And when you're winning, how could you not have fun."

Dexter McCluster added: "4-0 feels like a dream, but as you can tell I'm standing here, I'm pinching myself, it's all real."

QB Alex Smith took a cautious approach to the great start: "The entire focus all off-season, all camp was 1-0, just get the first one. Such a week to week thing. You can't start looking down the line, you can't start counting anything.
