Chiefs: Moeaki Impressed With Reid Early On

Chiefs tight end Tony Moeaki says he's impressed with new coach Andy Reid so far.
ST. JOSEPH, Mo.  -- Chiefs training camp officially begins Thursday when all players report, but there have been plenty of football activities in St. Joseph the last two days.

Those days are mostly reserved for rookies, players coming off of injuries and new faces -- and there are plenty of those.

There are also plenty of passing drills this week involving new starting quarterback Alex Smith and his back up Chase Daniel.

Tight end Tony Moeaki has been in Kansas City for a few seasons, and he's liking new coach Andy Reid's take on offense.

"Yeah absolutely, Coach Reid's resume speaks for itself," Moeaki said. "He's been a great coach for a long time.  So meetings are exciting when he's in there.  When the head coach is in there, teaching us, in detail the plays."

All four Chiefs preseason games are on KOZL, and before each one catch our half hour pre game show, "KC Blitz."

There will be features, chances for you to voice your opinion on the team, and down to the wire updates leading up to each game.

The first episode is August 9 before the Chiefs take on the New Orleans Saints.
