Budget Cuts Cause Victory Mission Layoffs

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Budget cuts are to blame for a Springfield-based charity letting go of workers.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- Budget cuts are to blame for a Springfield-based charity letting go of workers.

Victory Mission Executive Director Jim Harriger says five positions have been eliminated in the organization.

The branch bistro restaurant has also shut down.  It was located inside the Assemblies of God national offices.

Harriger says the board of directors realized expenses had to be trimmed.
