Benefit Concert Planned in Waynesville to Help Flood Victims

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. -- More help is coming to the victims of this month's deadly flooding in and around Waynesville.
WAYNESVILLE, Mo. -- More help is coming to the victims of this month's deadly flooding in and around Waynesville.

A Pulaski County "Flood Aid" Benefit Concert is set for Thursday, Sept. 5 at Waynesville High School from 7-10 p.m.

According to the City of Waynesville's Facebook page, music group Kricket Alley and 2012 X-Factor finalist Vino Alan will take part in the event. More details are pending.

Tickets for the show will be $20 for adults and $10 for children 10-17. Children under 9 are free.

All proceeds will be donated to the local flood relief fund or charities working to assist flood victims.

The City of Waynesville is co-sponsoring, along with 98.9 FM KFLW Radio, Lone Oak Printing, and other civic organizations and businesses.
