Bears Face Winless Grambling State

Missouri State will host Grambling State Wednesday.
SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State basketball Bears will continue their four game homestand Wednesday night when they host Grambling State.

This is only the second time in school history that these two programs have met.

And Paul Lusk's crew will come in on a roll.

The Bears have won both their games, and lead the conference in scoring, three point baskets and rebounds.

Grambling State is still looking for it's first win of the season.

The Bears have battled from behind to beat both Old Dominion and Tulsa.

Lusk says he doesn't want his players looking past the Tigers.

"Sure you always fear a let down," said coach Paul Lusk.  " It happens in college basketball.  But the one thing we've tried to tell our guys.  We have to be hungry.  We haven't accomplished anything yet.  We can't give one back."

"We're really deep, 14 or 15 deep.  Anybody can go off on any given night," said MSU forward Emmanuel Addo.  "This is what we've been working for all summer with workouts and weights and everything.  It's all coming together and it should be a real special season."
