LAMAR, Mo. -- The man accused of the kidnapping and murder of Adriaunna Horton is scheduled to be in court today for arraignment.

Bobby Bourne is charged with kidnapping, rape, and first degree murder in the death last week of the 12 year old Barton County girl.
Sunday, the Barton County prosecuting attorney released a probable cause statement for the charges, which were upgraded to murder on Friday.  (see the statement above)

According to the court document, after being arrested, Bourne admitted to picking up Horton near Hazel's Park.  He claimed Horton later ran away from him, fell down and died from injuries in the fall.

The probable cause statement says Bourne led investigators to a wooded area southwest of Golden City, where he said Horton's body would be found.
An autopsy showed Adriaunna was strangled to death.

Bourne is scheduled to appear in court at 2:00 pm.  He is being held on $2 million bond.
