Arkansas Escapee may be in Buffalo, Long Lane Area

DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has received word of the whereabouts of Arkansas Jail escapee Derrick Estell.
DALLAS COUNTY, Mo. – The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has received word of the whereabouts of Arkansas jail escapee Derrick Estell.

According to the Sheriff’s Department, Estell may be in the area of rural Buffalo and Long Lane along the Niangua River with his girlfriend, Tamara Lynn Upshaw.

Estell is described a 6-foot, 165 lb white male with brown eyes and brown hair, or bald.  Upshaw is a white female about 5 feet, 121 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.

Arkansas law enforcement has been advised to consider Estell to be armed and extremely dangerous.

Estell escaped from the Garland County, Arkansas Jail on July 28 and is facing charges of aggravated robbery, burglary, theft and other charges.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for Estell and requests any sightings to be reported to the Dallas County Dispatch by using 911, or 417-345-1999.
