Anderson Ready For Mizzou Reunion

Former Mizzou coach Mike Anderson will lead Arkansas against Tigers Saturday.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark--The Mizzou Tigers will be looking for back to back wins Saturday when they go to Fayetteville to take on Arkansas.

And this game is way more than just another Saturday afternoon SEC game.

It's the first time that Arkansas coach Mike Anderson will coach against his old team.

In our Tiger Nation report, both the Tigers and Hogs are coming off their first conference road victories.

Anderson left Mizzou two years ago to return to Fayetteville and rescue the Razorbacks.

He says it will be an emotional reunion because he's know Mizzou's Phil Pressey and Laurence Bowers since they were babies.

"It's kind of emotional because they are like, like my sons," said Arkansas coach Mike Anderson. "They are my sons. I said emotion. That's just with me. It's an SEC game. It's a big game. We're in a race right now. It's a game at home. And we've done pretty good in terms of defending the home turf. And we want to continue."
