Aluminum Show Brings Green Innovation to Springfield MO

(Springfield, MO) -- "Going green" takes on a new meaning in the Ozarks this weekend. 

"The Aluminum Show" is in Springfield for the first time ever, at Juanita K. Hammons Hall for the Performing Arts.

This show will change the way you look at industrial pipes, maybe even reynolds wrap. It debuted in 2003 and there have been $1 million in upgrades for the U.S. tour. It features dance, gymnastics, special effects, visual theater. 

There is audience participation in the show, which has been called, "weirdly innovative." 

The show opens at 8 p.m. Friday. There are also performances at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday.
