SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- A suspected cattle rustler appeared in court Friday, pleading not guilty to three more charges.

Howard Perryman, 67, of Monett, is accused of stealing thousands of dollars worth of cattle and farm equipment throughout southwest Missouri.

In late August, several farmers took the stand and testified about their stolen property in Greene County Court. A judge believes there's enough evidence for Perryman to stand trial.

Perryman is set for a pre-trial conference on November 8. Farmers and investigators don't think Perryman acted alone and say the case is still open.

Sheriff Arnott told KOLR10 earlier this summer that Perryman's record goes back to 1967, the year the sheriff was born.
