SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Springfield Cardinals seemed to have hit their stride the last week or so winning five straight games and were going for the four game sweep on Arkansas Sunday at Hammons Field.

A battle between these two Cardinals Kurt Heyer gets Andrew Heid swinging the first time.

But the second time around it was Heid's turn. Top of the fourth and the Traveler sends it to the top of the hill for the solo home run. Arkansas up 1-0.

Springfield answers right back though. In the bottom of the fourth. Curt Smith's turn at the long ball. And it's tied at 1-1.

Traveler's Zach Borenstein with the 2-run blast.

There were four homers hit in this game.

As Arkansas wins 11-3.
