TIMEOUT: Should Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield Win the Heisman Trophy?

Now for a time out:

In a couple of weeks, the Downtown Athletic Club of New York City will hand out the most prestigious award in college football.

They'll most likely give it to the biggest jerk of the college football season, Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield.

The Sooner quarterback has the best numbers of any Heisman candidate but he's also an idiot.

Saturday at Kansas, as his team was pounding the Jayhawks, Mayfield taunted the crowd and then grabbed his crotch and said a very bad curse word to the opposing players.

Earlier this season in another display of poor sportsmanship, he planted the Sooner flag in the middle of Ohio State's stadium after an upset win.

Baker apologized and the Sooners will not start him against West Virgina Saturday.

He's been saying he's sorry all season long for being stupid.

Here's the deal, the Heisman rules say it should go to the college player who shows not only great numbers, but also exhibits integrity and sportsmanship.

Baker Mayfield displays none of that.

I don't have a Heisman vote, but if I did I would not waste it on Baker Mayfield.

What do you think?

Should Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield win the Heisman Trophy?
