Sox: Burger Stays At Third

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--There are 29 more rounds, yes 29 Wednesday in the MLB draft.

It's a certainty more Missouri State Bears will hear their name called.

Monday night, the Chicago White Sox picked Bears slugger Jake Burger in the first round, as the 11th pick overall.

Burger's from St. Louis, but grew up a Chicago White Sox fan.

Burger should cash in as well, in line for a $4.2 million signing bonus.

The Sox feel Burger has the best right handed power in the country.

"I think we both came to the agreement that I can stay at third base.  I will work as hard as I can.  It doesn't matter to me as long as I am hitting they'll find a spot for me.  That's that.  Third base is my position, but whatever the organization needs I'll be happy to do," said Burger.
