COLUMBIA, Mo--The college football season is officially over, but the basketball season is just hitting full gear.

The conference season is tipping off all across America, including the SEC.

Wednesday night Mizzou will start league play at home against Georgia and you can see that game on KOZL-TV tip-off at 7:00 p.m.

Frank Haith's Tigers are 12-1 this season and ranked 21st in the country in the AP poll.

Mizzou has never lost to Georgia and will be looking for its sixth consecutive home conference opening win.

"I would like to think that we're prepared," said Mizzou coach Frank Haith.  "And we'll get out there and see on Wednesday.  I think our RPI is 20 in the country.  That's pretty good going into league play.  I like our team.  I like where we're at.  But we have to get better..."
