Bolivar quarterback Rafe Peavey signed his letter of intent Monday afternoon after leading the Liberators to their best football season in school history.
The 6-foot-2 quarterback will complete his courses this semester at bolivar, and enroll at Arkansas.
Peavey led the Liberators to a 12-1 record and the Class 4 state quarterfinals.
In his senior season, Peavey contributed nearly 4,000 yards of total offense and 43 touchdowns.
"There are several benefits to it, but the main reason for me is going down there and learning the playbook from coach Chaney," said Arkansas signee Rafe Peavey. "The SEC is one of the best conferences in the country and just getting physcially prepared and mentally prepared. The great coach staff there with coach Bielema and coach Chaney. And the fan base there and the facilities. The state really cares about football there."
