In our Bear Nation report, Missouri State lost by ten at Drake earlier this season.
And lost by 18 saturday at Southern Illinois.
Another factor coach Paul Lusk is battling is injuries.
Center Tyler McCullough will miss the Drake game as he recovers from a concussion.
Forward Ron Mvouika has missed the last two days of practice with back spasms and may not play.
Keith Pickens should be able to go and Lusk says it's a critical time of the season.
"We're in a good position from the standpoint that we have four out of the next six at home," said MSU coach Paul Lusk. "And you just have to take advantage of every opportunity. We have four seniors, so their time is dwindling down. You want to put yourself in position to make a run here.."

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Springfield Catholic Fighting Irish have a new football coach Tuesday.
And he should be a familiar face to Ozark area football fans.
Steve Hancock is leaving Branson after 28 seasons to take over the Irish program.
Hancock is semi-retired and the move to Catholic will be easier for him to coach and teach while keeping his retirement status with the state of Missouri.
Steve Hancock won 198 games and finished second in Class 3 in 1987 and 1989.
Before Branson, Hancock coached at Stockton and he has 37 years of high school football coaching experience.
