COLUMBIA, Mo--To the Class 4 boys semifinals, Republic trying to get back to the state finals playing Helias.

And buckle up folks, things get crazy.

Helias' Sam Husting's three ties it at 45 late in the second half.

Then the Tigers Cody Geiger comes back with a basket.

He had a monster game and finished with 29 points.

This one would need OT, where the Crusader's Hale Hinches makes it 53-51 Helias.

But Brock Yocum answers right back with a three pointer, we go not just to a double overtime, but a triple overtime.

In the third OT, it's back to Geiger, he makes it 60-58 Tigers.

Then the Crusaders Isaiah Sykes going for the tie with time running down, off the front of the rim.

Yocum gets the rebound and is fouled, he would go to the free throw line and make two clutch free throws.

It's 63-60 Tigers lead.

And to make sure it didn't go into a fourth overtime, Geiger off the inbounds gets the steal and the two handed slam.

Republic wins a crazy one 67-62 in triple overtime.

They play Lafayette for the Class 4 state title tomorrow.

"I just couldn't ask for them to give any more heart and effort and battle, to have to get stops in consecutive overtimes," said Republic coach Trevyor Fisher.  "It just says a great deal about our team and the way they refused to lose."

So the Marshfield girls have a chance to get a third place trophy tomorrow.

While Republic goes for back to back state titles.
