Nixa's Middleton Resigns

NIXA, Mo--Christian County girls basketball will have a whole new look this Fall.

Friday, Jim Middleton resigned as the Nixa girls basketball coach, this comes a few weeks after Yancy Little resigned at rival Ozark.

Middleton will remain as the Track coach and still teach physical education and drivers education.

Middleton coached Nixa for five years and 100-32 in those seasons.

He also won the 2009 Class 5 state championship with a team that went 29-2.

Nixa promoted Jennifer Perryman to take Middleton's job as head coach.

She's been a Nixa girls assistant coach for nine seasons.
