Nixa Gets Revenge, District Championship

OZARK, Mo--March madness not just at the college level, but also at the high school level.

The road to Columbia and Missouri state championship continued Saturday.

In Class 5 District 11, it was Kickapoo and Nixa for the district championship.

Earlier this season, Kickapoo beat Nixa by six points.

And the Chiefs taking it inside early, Ryan Burland with the hook shot it's a one point game.

But Nixa would go on a first quarter run, the kick out to Bryce Dulin who knocks down this three pointer, it's 12-4 Eagles.

Then Dawson Mills left all alone beyond the stripe and he splashes the three pointer, it's 17-4.

Kickapoo trying to keep pace, Tyson Batiste down the lane for the layup, but the Chiefs down by nine.

Nixa would pull away late in this one, winning 82-69.  

And Republic wins Class 4 District 11 over Rogersville 54-36.
