Little Steps Down As Ozark's Hoops Coach

OZARK, Mo--Yancey Little stepped down as the Ozark high school girls basketball coach Friday.

Little won 197 games in nine seasons and last year's team lost to Nixa in the district championship game.

He will remain at Ozark as the Lady Tigers softball coach.

Little took Ozark to back to back state championships in 2005 and 2006.

Little says he credits his assistants for helping throughout the years, saying fantastic help and fantastic kids are a great combination.

Little did say he was getting fatigued coaching basketball spending five and a half months in the gym.

He will also coach boys jv baseball at Ozark.
