A weekend of double headers at Hammons came to a close on Easter Sunday.
In the earlier game, Missouri State hosted Illinois State.
Series split at 1-1 going into game three.
In the first Bears pitcher Jake Powers gets Paul Dejong to strike out swinging.
But in the second, Redbirds would start busting out the bats.

As Stroud slides in safely at two for the 1-0 ISU lead.
Same inning the Bears get Daniel Dwyer to pop up to foul territory Dylan Becker, with the focus tracks it down to end the inning.
To the third, Redbirds Dylan Johnson to right center.
The throw to the plate not in time Mike Hollenbeck scores, as the Redbirds take the series winning by a score of 7-1.
Also on Sunday the St. Louis Cardinals closed out a four game series against the Washington Nationals.
The Cardinals took an early 2-0 lead, but would end up losing on a Nationals sac fly in the bottom of the ninth.
As the Nationals win in walk-off fashion 3-2.
And the Minnesota twins snapped the Kansas City Royals winning streak on Sunday as well.
As KC falls 8-3.
