The Lasers lost a heart breaker last night to Philadelphia.
Monday, it was men's doubles first Michael Russell and Ross Hutchins against Wild's Aisam Qureshi and Alex Bogomolov. Nice volley here but Russell with the smash for the Lasers for the point.
But the Wild's Qureshi was great on the serve and Bogomolov was better at the net.
Wild win the first event 5-2.
Women's doubles is up next, the Lasers Olga Govortsova and Anna-Lena Groenefeld against Texas' Anabel Garrigues and Darija Jurak.
And Jurak puts the backhand down the line on the Lasers, and the Wild win the second event 5-2, and led 10-4 after two.
Springfield won mixed doubles and men's singles but Texas won 17-16 in a super tiebreak.
The St. Louis Cardinals opened up a four game series with Pittsburgh Monday night at Busch Stadium.
And before the game, the Cards send lefty Marco Gonzales to triple A Memphis and promoted Tyler Lyons.
Remember Gonzales went straight from Springfield to the big league club, two weeks ago.

And threatening skies before the first pitch held things up for awhile at the start.

It would be the 9th inning before the Cardinals put two on the scoreboard, beating the Pirates 2-0.
The Springfield Cardinals wrapped up their six game Texas road trip last night in San Antonio.
And this game was tied in the 11th when Mike O'Neill belted an RBI double, Springfield wins 3-2 and takes two of three from the Missions.
Springfield is back in town Wednesday.
The Kansas City Royals started a three game series in Tampa last night.
James Shields making his first start in Tampa since getting traded to KC in 2012.
In the first, he strikes out Matt Joyce swinging, and then Royals catcher Salvador Perez throws out Ben Zobrist, at second.
The old strike 'em out, throw 'em out double play, Salvy starting next week's All-Star game.
To the third inning, Alex Gordon singles to right, Eric Hosmer scores 1-0 Royals.
Same inning, Omar Infante runners in scoring position, he grounds out to short, but that scores Perez, and it's 2-0 - Royals.
Shields had 10 strike outs in seven innings of work and Kansas City shuts out Tampa, 6-0.
