Late Tiger Homers Push Memphis Past Missouri State

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Bears baseball team continuing their solid non-conference schedule, with Valley play coming up at the end of the month. Sunday, the 13-5 Bears looking to win the series against Memphis.

The Bears and Tigers split their first two games.

2-2 game in the bottom of the fifth, that's when Jeremy Eierman strikes. Line drive homer to left. Bears take a 4-2 lead.

Then in the top of the sixth. Doug Still cruising along. Gets Chris Carrier swinging. Still had seven strike outs.

But the Bears would need a pitching change in the sixth and things would go down hill from there. First a two run homer to tie it.

Then in the seventh Tyler Webb solo bomb. Gives Memphis a 5-4 lead and they'd keep it.

Bears drop their second straight 5-4 the final.
