Johnson Leads In Missouri Amateur

ST. LOUIS, Mo--The Missouri state amateur golf championship teed off its week long competition in St. Louis Tuesday.

And defending champ Joey Johnson had a great opening round leading all golfers with a seven under par 64.

Johnson is an Ozark native who plays on the Missouri State golf team.

After two days of stroke play, the format turns into match play until a champion is crowned on Sunday.
