ST. JOSEPH, Mo--The Kansas City Chiefs continued their training camp at St. Joseph Friday. Now to a check in on day five of practice in our KC Blitz report.

Justin Houston has participated in the last two practices at camp despite wanting a contract extension.

The linebacker had 40 total tackles and 11 sacks last season.

Houston was drafted out of Georgia in the third round of the 2011 draft, and made roughly $600,000 off his rookie contract last year.

"That's in God's hands, I am here now to play football. I'm not worried about that. I'm here help better the team and to do what the coaches ask of us. I'm not worried about that contract, when it is time for that to happen it, it's going to happen. Like I said, my main focus is football if you are worried about that contract it will slow you down from things you have to do on the field and I don't want that to happen," said Justin Houston.
