SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Kansas City Chiefs aren't the only Chiefs who are perfect on the season.
The Kickapoo Chiefs are also 9-0.
And Wednesday night they'll kick off their playoff run with a district semfinal game against Ozark.
This is the first time since 1988 that the Chiefs have won the Ozark conference championship with a perfect record.
And Monday the Springfield Quarterback Club honored a trio of Kickapoo Chiefs.
Coach Joel Wells was named the Springfield coach of the year.
In his third season at Kickapoo, Wells is 21-and-9.
Also honored was quarterback Anthony Cooper and running back John Fusch.
They share the offensive players of the year.
Cooper thrown for more than 1,532 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Fusch carried the ball 47 times for 404 yards and five touchdowns.
That playoff game with Ozark is Wednesday night at Kickapoo.
