Central Gets First Win

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--At Harrison Stadium, Central hosted Buffalo.

Both of these teams looking for their first wins of the season.

And Central's defense playing tough in the first half, this Buffalo pass is picked off by Landon Hoffman on the ten yard line to stop that drive.

The Bison on the move later in that first quarter, but it's a bad snap, ball on the turf, Central's Jake Cartwright picks it up and rumbles 20 yards plus for a touchdown, it's 7-nothing.

Move to the second quarter Central's handoff to Jay King, it looks like he's bottled up in the backfield, but the junior stays on his feet, turns the corner, and goes 25 yards for a touchdown, it's 14-nothing.

More in the second quarter, the Bulldogs Trey Brown throws to the far sideline an eight yard touchdown pass to Isaiah Holyfield, it's 21-nothing.

And Central wins its first game 46-8.
