BOLIVAR, Mo--There's been a shift of power in the state's class four rankings.

Going into last week Harrisonville stood at number two while Bolivar checked in at four.

Fast forward to Friday night, and the Liberators are the second best team in class four.

Webb City seemed to be the biggest thorn in the Liberators side over the last few years.

The Cardinals crushed Bolivar's playoff hopes three straight seasons.

But last year, Webb City moved to other side of the bracket.

So a visit to the dome was in the Liberators plans, until Harrisonville got in the way.

And already this season a veteran Bolivar team had it's revenge on the Wildcats showing 2013 is all about paybacks.

"In the entire state it's been Jeff City, Webb City, and Harrisonville," said Bolivar coach Lance Roweton.

Go ahead and mark one of those teams off that list.

"They ended our season last year so we came into that game with a chip on our shoulder," said Bolivar quarterback Rafe Peavy.

A chip on the shoulder that the Liberators took to heart.

"To get that win was really something special we pushed through it, it was awesome."

Bolivar won 31-14.

Head coach Lance Roweton credits that to two senior factors.

"You always feel like you have a chance to score when you have a guy like that."

The first, the leader of the offense, quarterback and Arkansas recruit Rafe Peavy.

"He can make anything, he's clutch, he's totally in it."

"I'm just blessed to be on such a great team. I love my team."

With love comes time.

The entire Bolivar defense is the other key factor.

It features 11 seniors, a group that has been together since 4th grade.

"It's nice having that team chemistry there," said Drew Legan.

The defense is lead by Drew Legan.

Who in week three had 15 tackles and a fumble recovery.

"We can all congratulate each other and harp on each cause we know each other so well."

"They have a lot of savy, they've seen a lot of football they've seen a lot of things thrown at them."

Now #2 in the state, right below the Webb City Cardinals, with this senior heavy Bolivar team you know what to expect each week.

"They've got really good character. We're going to fight you for four quarters and we're going to battle."

Friday the Liberators take on the 1-2 Hollister Tigers.

The first COC small matchup of the season for Bolivar.
