SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Lady Bears wanted to sweep their two game homestand and hit the road with some Valley momentum.

But that did not happen Monday night.

Northern Iowa rallied in the second half to win 68-60.

The Panthers attacked the Lady Bears with a three point barrage.

UNI shot 28 three pointers in the game, connecting on 13 of them.

That's a new JQH Arena record.

The Lady Bears lost the lead early in the second half and could not catch the Panthers.

Missouri State falls to 7-9 overall, 2-3 in the Valley.

Next up a trip to Terre Haute to face first place Indiana State.

"I think our effort was there," said Lady Bear guard Tyonna Snow.  "I just think that we had a little slipups that we could not afford.  Had we could have stopped a couple of those, we would have won that game.."

"We were really hyped up on a really good win," said Lady Bear guard Hannah Wilkerson.  "But we have to finish the weekend, the two games in the week.  It's just little things right now.  And we need to fix a few and move on."
