Thomas and Buer Leave MSU

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Thursday, there were a couple of big named transfers for the Missouri State Bears basketball teams.

Freshman Devon Thomas is expected to leave after the semester. The guard averaged 3.2 points and 1.4 assists per game. Despite playing roughly 13.2 minutes a game, Thomas certainly showed promise for the future.

Thomas got his one start in the MVC Tournament against Wichita State. He finished with 5 points and 5 assists in that game. 

Lady Bears Karly Buer will also not return to MSU.

Their was talk of her coming back for a fifth year after tearing her ACL this season. However, she will finish her Masters at Liberty.

Buer played in 103 games for MSU. Averaging 7.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 2 assists a game. She also holds a school record .907 free throw percentage from her junior year.
