Panthers Advance to Regional Finals

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The top seeded and defending national champs, the Drury men's team also had their second round regional game Sunday. The Panthers able to get a 69-64 win over Wisconsin-Parkside Saturday. And would take on Lake Superior State in a quick turnaround Sunday.

The Panthers 26-3 on the season.

Drury out to a fast start on the Lakers Drake Patterson bouncer to Cameron Adams with the up and under. Panthers on top 10-3.

Then, the Lakers go inside to Cameron Metz with the lay in to cut it to a three point Drury lead.

Later, some quick Drury passing to Mike Nwelue with two handed slam. 27-22 Drury.

Before the half, Kameron Bundy top of the key, the foul on the jumper and one. That makes it 37-26 Drury.

Drury goes on to win 79-61. They will play in the Regional Final on Tuesday at 7:00 PM against Michigan Tech.
