SPRINGFIELD, Mo--It wasn't too long ago that Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel flew a helicopter into Springfield to recruit Hillcrest's Dorial Green-Beckham.

Pinkel was back in Springfield Monday night, for the first time since he dismissed Green-Beckham from the team.

The tiger football boss was part of Missouri's Annual Coaches Caravan that visits different parts of the show-me state each spring.

Pinkel talked about last weekend's black and gold football game, and his recent contract extension. But also addressed Green-Beckham's dismissal.

"Dorial you know I love the guy and now he has a chance to get some help and get a fresh start. That's what I want him to do and I hope he does and I think he will. We had to do what we had to do.  I don't want to keep talking about it," said Mizzou football coach Gary Pinkel.
