Mizzou Tops Long Beach State

COLUMBIA, Mo--The 25th ranked Mizzou basketball team trying to close out an exciting weekend in Mizzou athletics with a win over Long Beach State. Tigers and 49ers at Mizzou Arena.

The 49ers came out strong at the start. Kris Gulley with the triple makes it 15-8 Long Beach State.

Then it's Tigers Jonathon Williams III from the elbow. Gives the Tigers a 30-28 lead.

2nd half, Mizzou trying to pull away as Wes Clark sinks the shot from down town. 51-38 Tigers.

But, the 49ers staying in it as Gulley, with the roll. Niners within four.

But Long Beach State had no answer for Tigers Jabari Brown. He had 22 points as Mizzou holds on to win it 69-59.

Tigers win their 26th straight at home. The longest current streak in the nation.
