Missouri State Wins Thriller At Bradley

PEORIA, Ill--The Missouri State Bears were looking for a bounce back victory in Peoria.

The Bears lost to Loyola by 30 points Sunday.

Wednesday night they faced the 6-9 Bradley Braves.

Missouri State has won five of the last six games played against Bradley.

And the Braves off to a quick start, Walt Lemon Junior with the steal and the slam dunk, the Braves led by as many as 12 points early.

But the Bears battled back inside to Tyler McCullough with the floater, Missouri State within three.

Then Marcus Marshall with the three pointer, it's 27-25 Bradley.

Late in the first half, Marshall slashes to the rack, he gets the hoop and the foul, he made the free throw, Bears up 28-27 at the half.

Second half, Jarmar Gulley gets the steal, then feeds Austin Ruder for the layup, it's 32-27 Bears.

Gulley also had a career high 26 points.

Bradley sophomore Ka'darryl Bell with the three, 43-40 Braves.

Marcus Marshall with a big night, this three, three of his 20, and Missouri State wins a thriller 68-65.

Missouri State will host unbeaten and sixth ranked Wichita State Saturday night.
