Missouri State Snaps Losing Streak

SPRINGFIELD, Mo--It'll be a busy couple of days here at Hammons Field, Missouri State played Evansville in a Friday afternoon game.

In our Bear Nation report, Missouri State trying to snap a four game losing streak against the Aces.

This is the second to last home game for assistant coach Brett Thomas who's retiring after 34 years as a Missouri State player and coach.

Missouri State breaks on top in the bottom of the third, Patrick Drake whips this single to left, Joey Hawkins scores it's 1-nothing Bears.

The Bears Matt Hall throwing b-b's for Missouri State, he gets this strikeout to end the fourth, Hall would go six innings giving up only three hits with four strikeouts.

More Missouri State offense in the fourth, Matt Fultz singles up the middle, Eric Cheray scores it's 2-nothing.

Bottom of the fifth, 3-0 Bears, Tate Matheny muscles up and takes this deep to left, over the fence and into the bullpen, a solo shot it's 4-nothing.

And Missouri State snaps it's four game losing streak 8-1.
