Saturday night the Salukis roll into town in what Lusk is calling just another game.
In our Bear nation report, Missouri State will look to defend the home court and win it's second straight game.
Lusk is into his third year with the Bears, and he's 4-1 against his old team.
And SIU is coached by former Bears boss Barry Hinson which adds another layer of nostaglia to the game.
More importantly, the Bears say they need to beat Southern Illinois to keep pace in the Valley.
Ron Mvouika has stepped up of late, and says conference competition is not easy.
"It's really high. It's at a really high level," said MSU forward Ron Mvouika. "I didn't expect it to be like that. And I enjoy it. I like it. The fact that everyone can beat everybody, and you can't lose at home or on the road. It's very challenging. I really enjoy it.."
"Taking care of home court advantage is big," said MSU guard Dorrian Williams. "It's huge, especially in this conference. Nothing is given and everything is hard. So we need to take care of every opportunity that we can."
