SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The men's teams not the only Drury basketball team hosting a regional final this week. Sunday, the top seeded Lady Panthers will host Wayne State for a trip to the elite eight.

The Lady Panthers were able to cruise to a 78-58 win over GLVC rivals Quincy. After losing to the Hawks 82-79 in the regular the season, Drury got their revenge, winning by 20.

Amber Dvorak and Sanayika Shields both posted double-doubles in the win.

After finishing 14-13 last season, DU has advanced to their first regional final at the O'Reilly Center.

Tip-off is Monday at 7:00 against the Wayne State Warriors.

"I think we have to do, what we have all year, basically. We have always been a tough defensive team in the post and I think we just need to step up like we do every game and do our best and shut those post players down," said Lady Panthers center Amber Dvorak.

"They are a very good team, they are on a hot streak. But I think we have got a game plan in place that I think I trust. I like what we have in store for them and I am sure they are confident coming into this game. We will be ready, I promise you we will be ready," said Lady Panthers coach Steve Huber.
