SPRINGFIELD, Mo--Sunday, the Lady bears played against the Southern Illinois Sulikis. The Lady Bears coming off of a 87-70 win against Evansville on Friday.

Lady Bears possession and they cough it up to Mercedes Griffin. She got the steal and the score for the Salukis. 14-9 MSU.

Later, Lady Bears Hannah Wilkerson shooting that one all the way from her high school back in Miller, Missouri. That deep three makes it 22-19 Lady Bears.

Then, a nice feed down low to Bry Snow who does the rest. 31-25 MSU leading.

Salukis Azia Washington, the board off the miss and the put back. Cuts the Lady Bears lead to 60-33.

But, the Missouri State would close this one out with a nice one handed bouncer on the fast break to Mikala McGhee.

Lady Bears win 76-58.

"Well, we are excited to top of this weekend with two wins. Very simililarly to our game against Evansville, thought we had some really good moments and started out well but didn't like the way we finished the game. So there are some teaching moments there but we were able to play a lot of people and get a lot of contributions from everyone really," said Bears coach Kellie Harper.
