NORMAL, Ill--The Missouri State Lady Bears will open a four game homestand at JQH Arena starting Friday night against Evansville.

In our Bear Nation report, the Lady Bears had some road business to take care of first.

That is trying to snap a two game losing streak at Illinois State.

Good start for the Lady Bears, Bry Snow spins into the lane for the hoop 6-2 Missouri State.

Then the Lady Bears Lexi Hughes with the three from the corner, it's 13-12 Missouri State.

Hughes with the nice pass here to Bry Snow for the hoop and the foul, a three point play the hard way, 24-19 Lady Bears.

Right before the half, freshman Katie Palmer stops and pops for the Lady Bears 30-23.

Missouri State led by seven at halftime.

Illinois State roared out of the lockerroom, Octavia Crump into the paint and the scoop shot, it's a three point deficit.

But Missouri State answers, Tyonna Snow picks the pocket here and gets the transition hoop, it's 43-36 Lady Bears.

Then Hannah Wilkerson with a deep, deep three and Missouri State holds onto win 75-72.
