SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Missouri State Lady Bears continued their homestand Friday at JQH Arena.

Kellie Harper's Lady Bears looking for their fourth straight victory, and that would move them above 500 for the season.

Loyola is coached by former WNBA star and three time Olympic gold medalist Sheryl Swoopes.

And the Lady Bears would attack from the outside, Hannah Wilkerson with a long three, it's 10-4 Missouri State.

Then the freshman Katie Palmer pulls up from the free throw line and banks it off the glass, it's 12-6 Lady Bears.

Loyola trying to get going behind their top shooter, Troy Hambric, she splashes this three off the screen, it's a 14-9 game.

But the rest of the game belonged to the Lady Bears, another freshman Lexi Hughes with the three it's a ten point Missouri State lead.

Then Kenzie Williams with the three from the bottom of your screen.

But with 3 minutes left in the half, on the fast break, the pass to Williams, she goes down with an apparent injury to her left knee.

That's the same knee she injured her freshman year.

The redshirt sophomore left the game with team doctors and didn't return.

The Lady Bears went onto win 66-41, but it was bittersweet.

"Obviously we're worried about Kenzie.  She'll be evaluated tomorrow," said Lady Bear coach Kellie Harper.  "And we'll go from there.  When you have a teammate go down hard with an injury, it's really hard to get refocused on what you're doing.  The things the players were saying in the huddle and how they stepped back on the court with great energy and focus was really good..."
