SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Drury Lady Panthers will tip off the Great Lakes Valley post season tournament Thursday afternoon in Evansville.

The Lady Panthers will take on Maryville in the opening round game.

Drury is ranked sixth in the latest D2 coaches poll and is the top seed going into the tournament.

The GLVC also named Steve Huber as it's coach of the year.

The Lady Panthers beat Maryville at the O'Reilly Center in late January by six points.

But the Saints will come into the tourney on a roll, winners of four of their last five games.

"We just need to do what we've been doing all year," said Amber Dvorak.  "Just get those wins and working hard and playing defense.  We just need to treat every game like it's our last.  And we have just keep pushing forward.  Shelby Miller is one of the best players on their team and we have to make sure we stop her.."

"We've 24-and-2.  The chemistry from the girls is super fun," said Bethanie Funderburk.  "And I wouldn't change a thing.  I wouldn't change a teammate.  I'm just thankful that this year has gone so well."
