SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Drury Panthers will start defense of their NCAA tournament national championship on the same floor they started last year.

Their home hardwood at the O'Reilly Family Event Center.

For the second consecutive year, Drury will host the NCAA Midwest Regional.

And it will be a familiar cast of characters with five of the eight teams hailing from the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

Drury will open things up against Wisconsin Parkside Saturday night at 6:00 p.m.

The Panthers beat the Rangers on a last second play last month but lost in the GLVC semi's last week.

"We just have a lot of confidence knowing that we're back in the same place that we were last year," said Drury guard Kameron Bundy.  "Just having that great record in the season.  We have to come out in the post season and prove to everyone why we're number one.  Not that we'll forget about the loss.  We need to learn from that and come together as a team this week in practice.  And see what we can accomplish this weekend.."

"I'm not even thinking about next year," said Drury guard Drake Patterson.  "I thinking of this year.  It's win or go home.  I mean we can't hold anything back.  There's no reason that we can't give everything that we got."
