SPRINGFIELD, Mo--The Drury men's basketball team is back in the sweet sixteen. Their second round game finished up late Sunday night. The top seeded Panthers took on fifth seeded Lake Superior State.

And the second half, just seemed to go the Panthers way. Shot clock winding down and Nick Yocum, heaves it up for wild three pointer. 64-50 Drury.

Then, fast break time and there it is. Cameron Adams with two handed slam. 69-50 Panthers up.

Drury getting it done on defense as well, Wendell Pierre with the steal and the score. It's a 73-52 Panther lead.

Lakers, Alex Williams hits the pretty jumper to make it a twenty point game.

But the second half belonged to the home team. Kameron Bundy and one. Drury goes on to win it 79-61 and play Michigan Tech on Tuesday for the regional final.

"This time of year there is no excuse to not play as hard as you can from the tip to the final buzzer. So, we are just trying to do our stuff and play together," said Panthers guard Drake Patterson.

"It was a battle. As we told them at half time, for the way the one last nights game, their is not any give up in them. Proud of my guys for doing what they needed to do to advance," said Panthers basketball coach Steve Hesser.
