DES MOINES, Io--Wednesday, the Missouri State Bears were looking for their third straight win in Des Moines against Drake. In our Bears Nation Report, a victory would be their fifth in the month of January, something the Bears have not done in three years.

Paul Lusk has never lost to the Bulldogs as the Bears coach. But, Drake gets off to a quick start, Chris Caird  with the three, 13-4 Bulldogs.
Missouri State battles back, Nathan Scheer with the three from the near corner, 17-14 Bears.
Then, Ron Mvouika with the three from the top of the arc, 23-18 Missouri State.
Drake would go on a run, nice dish to Trevor Berkley for the one handed dunk, and the Bulldogs owned a 38-35 halftime lead.
And would add to that in the second half, Caird again with the three, 44-40 Drake.
Missouri State's defense steps up, Jarmar Gulley with the steal, down to Mvouika, to Dorrian Williams for the layup, 47-44 Bears.
But, Drake would make one last run, Jordan Daniels with a three from the far corner and the Bulldogs snap a seven game losing streak to Missouri State 84-74.
