And Missouri State took advantage to open the home portion of its schedule.

This is the latest that Missouri State has opened at home in 34 years.

And Missouri State's Cody Schumacher was on fire, he strikes out Austin Listi looking to end the first.

The Patriots were threatening in the second, Justin Wall takes this deep to center, Tate Matheny on his horse and makes the over the shoulder catch on the warning track to make the out.

Schumacher strikes out Mike Wesolowski looking, Schumacher went eight scoreless innings with eight strikeouts.

But Dallas Baptist goes onto win 1-nothing.
