SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- The Missouri State Bears finished a sweep of Bradley on Sunday, and remained tied for first in the MVC with Wichita State.

Missouri State won 6-2.

The Bears came in to the three-game series winners of just three of their last eight games.

But the Bears got key contributions from freshmen in each win.

On Friday, Spencer Johnson had the go-ahead RBI. Freshmen Jon Harris and Andy Cheray picked up wins on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

That marks 12-straight wins for MSU where a freshman has earned the victory on the mound, or knocked in the winning run.

The Bears travel to Saint Louis on Tuesday.
