Bears Fall to Northern Iowa

CEDAR FALLS, Ia--Missouri State had won only one of their last four games heading into the game against Northern Iowa. 

Panthers Wes Washpun to the rack makes it 33-20 UNI.

Later, Bears Ron Mvouika goes off. He had a career high 28 point and cuts the Panther lead to three.

In the second half, Bears hanging around, Christian Kirk for the slam. 67-65 UNI.

Panthers ball and a cross court to Nate Buss for three. 70-65 Panthers lead.

MSU trying to comeback, as Austin Ruder hits a three and cuts it to 88-86 with under thirty seconds to play.

But Northern Iowa would hit their free throws late in the game.

UNI holds on to win it 94-89.
